The TULIPA BIRD is a fabulous project, if you have done a bit of crewel work and want to try a few different stitches.
The panel was the first pieces Anna Scott designed inspired by the pattern on an old Hungarian plate - only stitched in much brighter colours. The embroidery is worked on Italian linen with fine shaded crewel wool. The size makes it perfect for a small pouch to hold your needlework accessories, but would also work well as a framed piece, as a pocket on a tote bag or an insert on a cushion.
This small panel is embroidery onto ivory linen using 11 shades of Appletons crewel wool. The design is stitched using mostly common embroidery stitches with the addition of a few more uncommon stitches.
The PATTERN PACK comes with instructions and printed linen ONLY.
NOTE: Threads and Needle NOT included.
