Sashiko Needles

Sashiko Needles are long sharp needles designed for the traditional Japanese stitching technique of Sashiko, which involves a simple running stitch. The length and strength of the needle allows for multiple stitches to be loaded onto the needle before pulling it through the fabric. Sashiko needles also have a large eye to accommodate the thicker Sashiko thread. The needles come in different lengths - beginners may find shorter needles easier to handle, especially for curved lines.
