Description
Bankside is a cross stitch pattern.
This is a typical outback Australia scene, which came about as an experiment, to determine whether a landscape could be worked on cross-stitch.
The title, however, does have a meaning ... shortly after Graeme's great-grandfather founded the family property of 'Avondale' at Miners Rest, near Ballarat in 1862, he developed another property in northern Victoria that he named 'Bankside'.
'Bankside' and 'The Hayshed' make an excellent pair.
