Kathy has combined both the Embroideress Stocking and the Embroideress Sampler into one pattern.
While the sampler version of this design has not been stitched, Kathy has inserted an image produced by her designing software to the cover sheet of The Embroideress Stocking. This image gives you a clear idea of what to expect in your finished sampler.
The stitch count of the sampler is 83 wide by 435 high.
The stitch count for the stocking is 172 wide by 447 high.
The stocking was stitched in Needlepoint Silks in: 123, 124, 125, 183, 406, 473, 642, 704, 867, 899, 963, 998.
As always, a conversion to DMC is included. The colors of this design have NOT been changed from the Stocking version to the Sampler version.
The stocking was stitched on 36-count "Beige" linen from Weeks Dye Works. The sampler would look wonderful stitched on this linen or any linen you might prefer.
