Description
Macaw is a cross stitch pattern.
These splendid parrots inhabit forests from Eastern Panama south through Colombia to Equador and through to Brazil and Paraguay.
Blue & Yellow Macaws associate in pairs, and even when large flocks are observed paired birds are easily discernible as they fly close together, their wings almost touching. They have regular roosting sites and in the early morning the flocks leave to fly to the feeding grounds, which may be some distance away.
Their diets consists of seeds, fruits, nuts and vegetable matter.
