Perle Cotton size 5 is a versatile thread used for cross-stitch, embroidery, needlepoint, hardanger, blackwork, redwork, punch needle, pulled thread, smocking, applique and many other types of creative stitchery.
Perle Cotton comes in different thicknesses sizes 3,5,8, and 12 - with 3 being the thickest and 12 being the finest. Size 5 is a medium weight perle.
DMC Perle Cotton is a highly mercerised, non-divisible, lustrous 100% cotton. The thread is soft, silky, does not fluff or kink and 100% colourfast. Perle Cotton is supple and provides wonderful volume and dimension to your embroidery.
