Sahiko Sampler Navy - Triple Diamond Pattern by Daruma 1208
Sashiko pre-printed samplers have wash-out stitching lines.
The fabric measures 31cm x 31cm (12.75" x 12.75") folded in half.
100% cotton fabric.
Do not pre-wash. Water-soluble ink. Design disappears with water.
Instructions are in English with easy-to-follow diagrams.
Needles and thread are not included.
You will need one card of Daruma thin weight (40m) thread or one card of Daruma medium weight thread (30m) to stitch the sampler.
The design is printed on one half of the sampler. The other half of the sampler has no design. Use the plain half as the backing for a pillow or other project, draw your own design on the second half or leave plain.
Stitch through both layers for a little heavier fabric if using for a quilt square. In Japan, the samplers are stitched through both layers, hemmed and use for tea towels or table decorations.
