Au Ver a Soie Ovale 6 Pack of Flat Silk - is a boxed sets of 6 spools of 30 metres in various colour schemes.
Au Ver à Soie Ovale is a low twist filament silk that is smooth, soft, and lustrous. It is made of the highest quality raw silk which gives it an unrivalled brightness and softness. The thread sits flat and is approximately the thickness of 3 to 4 stranded strands of DMC Stranded Cotton. This is technically a non divisible thread but it can be carefully separated into very fine silk filaments (not strands) where needed for very fine work (reference Mary Corbet - Needle'n Thread).
Colours included in this pack are 3044, 3045, 3311, 3014, 3333 and 3336.
