Anchor Lamé is strandable metallic embroidery thread. Made from 65% viscose and 35% metallised polyester for a high sheen and metallic effect. It does not oxidise and retains its brightness over time.
Available in 8m skeins and in five gorgeous metallic shades, it is ideal for hand embroidery and goldwork. Use it in conjunction with Anchor Stranded Cotton to add metallic highlights.
The thread can be divided into 12 individual strands depending on the thickness of thread required.
In addition to combining Anchor Lamé with Stranded Cotton for cross stitch, Anchor Lamé is very versatile and can be used for freestyle embroidery and goldwork.
