Description
This Hopeful sampler started as my response to the horrible events of 9/11. The phrase "Hope is a light in the midst of Darkness" rang true as the City of Moncton opened its doors to 18 plane loads of stranded, frightened passengers. Many of them arrived as strangers and left as friends of the people who hosted them.. As the world continued to struggle the idea for the Peaceful Sampler was born. May the words of these samplers bring you comfort and hope no matter what challenges you face. - Jennifer Aikman-Smith (Designer)
