Cecil Aldin (1870-1935) was one of the best-loved and most prolific book illustrators working during the so-called "Golden Age of Illustration".  Alden himself wrote and illustrated scores of delightful books for children, based on the antics of mischievous puppies, as well as more autobiographical works featuring his own menagerie.

This charming collection of cross stitch kits offer the perfect cross stitch project for dog lovers.  His portraits of these dogs in particular are full of personality and really make you smile.
